I am using to connect my workshop to my home network. Works perfectly over the 275 foot run from the house to the workshop.

i was worried about a splice being in it somewhere, it is good.

ran a line from my house to a pole barn 175' away on top of the ground. I will bury it in a couple of days

Good product

This a great product, but it isn’t jacketed. This isn’t necessarily a big deal, but considering it is direct bury, it definitely should be. I didn’t realize it when I bought it, but I decided to just go with it. So far so good, but my guess is I’ll have to replace in in a year or two. I bought it for multiple projects, but I will be installing conduit for the rest of it.

Don't be fooled by the initial appearance of quality

I bought this awhile ago for a POE network that is connected to a WiFi access point. The first 100ft run was good however every other cable that i have made with this cable is hit or miss on weather it will hit gigabit speeds. I have a 50ft run that won't bond above 100Mb but the device is fully capable of 1000Mb. There have been random open sections throughout the 500ft spool. Makes making a long run a crap shoot on if you'll get a functional cable or not.
